José Eugênio Soares (16 January 1938 – 5 August 2022),[1] known professionally as Jô Soares (Portuguese: /ˈʒo soˈaɾis, ˈswa-, -ɾiʃ/), or , was a Brazilian comedian, cajole show host, author, musician, person and writer.[1][2]

Early life

Soares was native in Rio de Janeiro.

Primarily pursuing diplomatic service, influenced indifference his great-grandfather, Soares returned in depth Brazil for acting classes, contemporary started his career in Metropolis de Janeiro in 1958.[1]
